CtrlFleet has expanded its fuel network capabilities with the integration of Online Petroleum, giving transport operators more choice in how they manage fuel while keeping it connected to their wider transport operations.

The integration marks the next step in CtrlFleet’s strategy to build a broader ecosystem around its Transport Management System (TMS), connecting the platforms and service providers transporters already use directly into their operational workflows.
Online Petroleum provides on-road refuelling solutions for the transport and logistics industry, with a network of refuelling locations across Southern Africa. The addition brings another established fuel network into CtrlFleet and extends the options available to clients operating across different routes and regions.
For CtrlFleet clients using Online Petroleum, fuel can now be planned alongside the loads, trips and vehicles it relates to. Operators can schedule fuel stops in CtrlFleet while planning their journeys, with relevant fuel information available as part of the operational picture. This greater visibility helps teams make more informed decisions proactively, rather than reacting to information after the fact.
“As our client base grows, so do the different requirements of the transporters using our platform,” says CtrlFleet. “Our aim is to give clients the flexibility to work with the service providers they already know and trust, while CtrlFleet brings those different parts of the operation together.”
The Online Petroleum integration reflects a wider approach to how CtrlFleet is developing its platform. Rather than creating a closed system, CtrlFleet is continuing to build connections with the technology and service providers road freight operators already rely on. This means transporters can continue using the fuel network that best suits their operation, while scheduling fuel stops in the same platform where they already plan loads, execute operations and manage their day-to-day transport activities.
