JT Ross Property Group launches a first-class logistics park

in Gauteng’s fastest-growing logistics corridor, JT Ross Property Group has announced the launch of JT Ross Park: Plumbago 5, a 25 hectare logistics park that reinforces the Group’s commitment to delivering exceptional, future-ready logistics and distribution facilities.

Plumbago

Strategically positioned within the sought-after Riverfields precinct, the Park is ideally located with seamless access to OR Tambo International Airport and the R21 freeway, a key freight corridor.

Phase 1 of the development will offer four secure, state-of-the-art logistics and warehouse facilities ranging from 4,500m² to 20,000m², designed to meet the growing demand for warehousing, distribution and logistics operations.

Phase 2’s concept is set to be confirmed by the end of Q4 2025. Each facility will be purpose-built for operational efficiency and flexibility, catering to logistics companies looking to grow, move and lead within Gauteng’s fastest-growing logistics corridor.

High-Performance Design and Sustainable Features

Every building within Plumbago 5 will feature roof-mounted solar photovoltaic systems, supporting energy efficiency and long-term operational savings. Facilities will include 12m – 15m clear spring heights for optimal racking capacity, as well as both dock and on-grade access to ensure the smooth movement of goods.

Each building is equipped with dedicated offices, staff areas and ablutions, creating a workspace that supports both productivity and employee comfort. Safety and security are prioritised through a secure gatehouse with controlled access, electrified perimeter fencing and comprehensive fire protection systems.

Construction has commenced with tenant occupation planned for Q3 in 2026.
