Reporting on material sustainability issues and achievements for the year ended 30 June 2026, the review demonstrates early momentum against Brambles’ broad range of targets across nature, business and communities.

Key achievements highlighted in the 2026 Sustainability Review include:

• Enabling 10,000 hectares of land regeneration in South Africa’s Upper uThukela catchment through a new partnership with WildTrust, which aims to protect and restore approximately 75,000 hectares over
  five years, contributing to Brambles’ target to regenerate two hectares of land for every hectare required for its timber needs
• Reducing absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 36% and absolute Scope 3 emissions by 16% against a FY20 baseline, ahead of Brambles' validated science-based targets reduction trajectory
• Substituting 50% of virgin plastic purchases with circular materials or solutions (up from 41% in FY25), against Brambles' target of 80%
• Engaging in sustainability collaborations with 694 external partners across customers, suppliers and NGOs (up from 637 in FY25)
• Issuing a record 7,440 Sustainability Certificates to customers, more than double the 3,702 issued in FY25, recognising environmental benefits achieved by using Brambles’ platforms instead of linear or single-use alternatives;
• Achieving a 10% improvement in Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR) (0.9 in FY26 vs 1.0 in FY25) to deliver Brambles’ best safety performance on record
• Facilitating the rescue of 880,863 tonnes of surplus food using CHEP platforms, equating to 1.8 billion meals served to people in need, and
• Supporting local communities with contributions totalling US$8.84 million through financial, in-kind donations and volunteering hours

The review also showcases initiatives from across Brambles’ operating regions that are supporting its regenerative ambition. These include efforts to protect biodiversity and endangered species in South Africa, collaborations with carrier partners on electric transport solutions in Australia, Mexico and Chile, and the deployment of Brambles’ digital technologies to help customers protect produce quality and reduce food spoilage in Latin America.

Sustainability leadership

Brambles continued to be recognised for its sustainability leadership in FY26. The company ranked #2 globally in the Commercial Services and Supplies category of the Dow Jones Best‑in‑Class World Index and was recognised in the S&P Sustainability Yearbook, having earned a Top 5% S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment Score.

Brambles also maintained the highest possible AAA rating from MSCI and retained CDP ‘A’ rating for both climate and forestry.
