FlexSpace is a premium, modern alternative to conventional storage featuring movable internal walls, allowing customers to combine multiple units into larger, tailored spaces when required. This modular approach makes FlexSpace particularly attractive for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, e-commerce businesses, distributors, and companies needing secure inventory overflow or scalable micro-warehousing.

Located at Crown’s property in Longmeadow Business Estate, the development includes both ground-floor and upstairs units.

Ian Pettey, Managing Director Crown Africa Region, said: “FlexSpace has been designed to meet the changing needs of businesses and individuals who require secure, scalable and premium storage space. Whether it is a growing e-commerce company needing micro-warehousing capacity, a business looking for flexible operational space, or a collector seeking secure storage for valuable assets such as classic or luxury cars, FlexSpace offers a level of adaptability that is difficult to find elsewhere.”

“We are delighted to see strong early interest in the facility and believe it will become an important addition to Johannesburg’s business and storage landscape.”

The launch forms part of Crown’s broader approach to exploring innovative uses for its Johannesburg site. In addition to the completed FlexSpace units, Crown is considering further concepts for the property, including small business hubs, flexible workspaces, customer-focused amenities and potential revenue-generating opportunities such as a coffee shop and meeting space for FlexSpace customers and the wider Longmeadow business community.

Numerous businesses have already set up in flexible spaces representing various sizes of operations.
